Therapist

Cole Petty, LCMHC-A

I work with clients across the lifespan and welcome individuals of all ages into counseling. My specialty is supporting adolescents as they navigate the unique challenges of growing up, including anxiety, depression, and identity or self-esteem struggles. I help teens find their voice, build coping skills, and strengthen their sense of self in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. I use play therapy to help children express feelings that may be hard to put into words. To help facilitate the best outcomes, I collaborate with parents to strengthen communication and support healthy family dynamics — knowing kids thrive when caregivers feel supported.

My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative. My style is person-centered and relational: I focus on truly understanding you and your experiences. While I’m trained in evidence-based approaches, I tailor our work to you because I believe therapy should fit your needs, not the other way around.

I welcome clients from all walks of life and backgrounds. I know how hard it can be to open up to someone new, so I strive to make the process feel as comfortable and down-to-earth as possible. If you’re ready to explore working together, please feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to answer any questions and schedule a brief consultation call.
